Our facilitators have more 30 years' experience in organizing study abroad and volunteering programs. Prepare your students and children for the increasingly complex and inter-connected world by equipping them with requisite cultural competence to function effectively in this world. Our programs offer your students the opportunities to learn from the past, understand the present and prepare for the future. 

African & Cultural Studies

- Study African culture by 'living it' - live in communities and engage in all activities of community life; listen to oral history from elders, listen to talking drums and songs which communicate messages (of war, peace, joy, death, etc.), take part in traditional games, visit historical, cultural, natural and archeological sites, build houses with local materials, engage in local economic activities such as farming in the field, fishing, trading in open markets, learn traditional trades (carving, weaving, smithing, etc.), learn to build and play traditional musical instruments, learn to dance, learn to shop for different kinds of food items, which ones to pick and how to pick them, learn to cook, plate and eat traditional foods, take part in traditional festivals such as out-doorings, rites of passage, funerals and festivals, learn the importance of preserving historical and cultural heritage.
